THE MARRIAGE RECORD

Stoner-Heathcock

On Wednesday, Nov, 24, the home of Mr. and Mrs T. J. Heathcock was the scene of a happy event, when their daughter, Miss Maude Ella became the bride of Wm. B. Stoner. At six o'clock on Thanksgiving, the bridal party took their places under a white arch, decorated with simlax. Mrs. Calvin Stoner played the wedding march. Simlax and flowers were tastefully arranged throughout the house. The bride wore a gown of alice blue, lace trimmed, and carried a bouquet of white Chysanthemums and pink rose buds. Her maid of honor, Miss Mabel Richards, wore white. The groom was attended by John Carrow. Rev. William James performed the ring ceremony, after which the wedding party and guests, there being only a few friends and near relatives present, partook of a bounteous three-course supper. The table decorations consisted of autumn fruit and flowers. The groom is an industrious young man and the bride has many friends in Linden where she has always lived. The list of gifts included many useful presents. The future home of the young couple will be at Harker on a farm owned by Mr. Stoner.
